Welcome to Gerry Brennan School of Motoring.
We are an established driving school with more than 20 years experience providing driving lessons in Glasgow with recommended driving instructors. As you can see we have many different courses available to learner drivers from novices to motorway tuition all at competitive prices. Lessons will be conducted in a patient and friendly manner with an objective at the start and recap at the end of the session where the pupil is able to monitor his or her progress. We will endeavour to get a first time pass, and install some long term defensive driving skills along the way that will keep you right for life. I filmed my own practical “Driving Test DVD” which can be viewed between driving lessons along with the practice theory test page mock tests to consolidate your knowledge. On the YouTube tutorials page we have some very useful clips including “Show me tell me” questions which will be asked by the examiner on your test.

Practical driving lessons and online support
Feel free to use our online resources for all learner drivers in the UK – including free theory test questions, hazard perception clips, our video page at YouTube tutorials and the driving test routes page where you can download files onto your own GPS device for private practice. When you have passed your theory test and your driving instructor thinks you are ready – apply for a test date. The driving test is designed to see if you can drive safely in varied road and traffic conditions. You should be able to adapt to changing weather conditions and demonstrate your knowledge of the Highway Code by planning your route and using road signs and markings correctly, and navigating for yourself unaided on the independent part of the test. The driving examiner will allow for nerves on the day that’s why you are allowed up to 15 minor faults – so don’t worry to much about making mistakes as long as they are not serious ones where you’ve caused another driver to change their speed or position.
